Die Studie zeigt, dass insbesondere vier langkettige PFAS-Verbindungen \u00fcber Nahrung und Trinkwasser nachweisbar sind und sehr lange Verweilzeiten haben. Im Gegensatz dazu werden kurzkettige PFAS rascher ausgeschieden und haben eine Halbwertszeit von Tagen bis Wochen. Die L\u00e4nge der Kohlenstoffkette des Molek\u00fcls ist entscheidend f\u00fcr die Verweildauer.
