EFSA last updated its assessment of inorganic arsenic in food in 2021. This data, together with a new study from the USA on skin cancer, prompted an update to the current risk assessment. Inorganic arsenic is mainly found in foods such as "rice", "rice-based products", "cereals and cereal products (excluding rice)" and drinking water.
