Verordnung (EU) 2024/996 zur Änderung der Verordnung über kosmetische Mittel, Verbot eines UV-Filters

Die Verwendung von 4-Methylbenzylidene Camphor in kosmetischen Mitteln wird mit Wirkung zum 1. Mai 2025 verboten.

Der UV-Filter wird zu dem genannten Termin in den Anhang II der Verordnung (EG) 1223/2009 überführt. Der Abverkauf von zuvor in Verkehr gebrachter Ware bleibt bis zum 1. Mai 2026 zulässig.
