Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/1022 of 8 April 2024 amending Regulation (EU) 2023/915 as regards maximum levels for deoxynivalenol in foodstuffs has been published.
Among other things, the limits for "cereals placed on the market for the final consumer, popcorn maize and popcorn", "bakery products, cereal snacks and breakfast cereals" and "pasta" have been adjusted or lowered.
Regulation (EU) 2024/1022 enters into force on 29 April 2024 and applies from 1 July 2024.
