BfR publications on acrylamide from the MEAL study

As part of the BfR's MEAL study (Meals for Exposure Assessment and Analysis of Food), the first overall nutritional study in Germany, the average occurrence of substances - including acrylamide - in various foods was analyzed. The highest acrylamide levels were found in vegetable potato chips. The BfR referred to this in a press release on 16.09.2024. In addition, a specialist article was written by BfR employees.
