The revised guidelines for potato products completely overhaul the requirements regarding the composition, production and quality of numerous potato products. Among other things, they regulate the trade names and quality characteristics of chips, mashed potatoes, potato pancakes, potato dumplings and crisps. For example, the guidelines contain specific requirements regarding product characteristics, permissible quality deviations and production methods.
