Commission Regulation (EU) 2024/1808 of 1 July 2024 amending Regulation (EU) 2023/915 with regard to the date from which lower maximum levels for ergot sclerotia and ergot alkaloids in foodstuffs apply has now been published in the Official Journal.
The reductions of various product categories such as "unprocessed rye grains" or "ground products made from barley, spelt and oats (with an ash content of less than 900 mg/100 g dry matter)" were postponed.
The regulation comes into force on 22 July 2024 and applies directly in every member state.
