At its last meeting in November 2022, the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology (DGHM) adopted recommendations for microbiological guideline and warning values for food and also approved new drafts.
The following designs are involved:
- 1.1 Guideline and warning values for whipped cream (draft recommendation 03.11.2022)
- 8.3 Guideline and warning values for raw olive products (draft recommendation 03.11.2022)
- 11.2 Guideline and warning values for dried fruit including sultanas and fruit powder (draft recommendation, 25/11/2021)
The recommendations are as follows:
- 1.2 Guideline and warning values for infant follow-on formula based on milk powder (11/2022)
- 9.1 Guideline and warning values for ground cereal products made from wheat, rye and spelt (11/2022),
- 7.2 Guideline and warning values for raw or partially cooked frozen ready meals or parts thereof that must be cooked before consumption (11/2022)
- 10.1 Guideline and warning values for moist, packaged, filled and unfilled pasta (11/2022)

The drafts for the respective microbiological guideline and warning values will remain freely accessible and open for discussion on the DGHM website for a period of at least ¼ year.
