The European Commission has published the latest version of the FAQ document on regulatory measures for mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOH) in food (Rev. 3).
The document provides an overview of the legal measures adopted on 13 May 2026 to regulate mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOSH/MOAH) in food. It addresses, amongst other things, questions regarding applicability and implementation, toxicology, monitoring and sampling, as well as the procedure to be followed during the transitional period until the maximum levels come into force.
